Violent hurricanes are now tearing through the Rust Belt as ARC Raiders receives its latest major update: Shrouded Sky – Patch Notes 1.17.0.

Low visibility, powerful winds, and flying debris are forcing Raiders to rethink how they loot, fight, and survive topside. Alongside the extreme weather, scouts have reported two new ARC threats, fresh progression content, and meaningful map changes.

New Map Condition: Hurricanes

Hurricanes drastically change the way expeditions play out across the Rust Belt:

• Powerful winds push Raiders off course and drain stamina
• Flying debris damages shields while reducing their protection
• Low visibility disrupts navigation and combat awareness

For those willing to brave the storm, First Wave Raider Caches have been unearthed on the surface, offering high-risk, high-reward opportunities.

Weather Monitoring System: New Player Project

The sudden arrival of hurricanes has exposed major gaps in Speranza’s preparedness.

Shani now tasks Raiders with building a Weather Monitoring System:

• Collect and contribute specific materials from topside
• Unlock features of the system over time
• Earn rewards for progressing the project

This new Player Project adds long-term progression while tying directly into the evolving world conditions.

New ARC Threats Join the Rust Belt

Two dangerous ARC machines have been spotted, each demanding new combat approaches:

Firefly A heavily armored flying ARC that emits jets of flame, capable of burning Raiders down rapidly unless they find cover or move fast.

Comet A spherical ARC that patrols calmly until it detects a Raider. Once locked on, it relentlessly pursues before detonating in a devastating explosion.

Free Raider Deck: Surgeon

The Surgeon Raider Deck is available for free with the Shrouded Sky update.

• Earn Cred by completing Feats topside
• Progress through rewards themed around precision and control
• Unlock the Surgeon cosmetic set through deck completion

Facial Hair Customization Arrives

Raiders can now grow some personality:

• Stubble – Available immediately to all players
• Full Beard – Unlockable via the Surgeon Raider Deck
• Stubble Beard & Thick Moustache – Available in the store from February 24
