Embark Studios has officially confirmed that the Shrouded Sky update will arrive in ARC Raiders on February 24, 2026.
While the game’s roadmap hinted at January content, February was always the update fans were circling — and Shrouded Sky looks set to deliver one of the most impactful drops since launch.
Everything Coming in the Shrouded Sky Update
Players can expect the following six new additions with the February update:
- New Map Condition
- New ARC Threat
- Player Project
- Raider Deck
- Map Update
- Expedition Window
Each system is designed to deepen risk-versus-reward gameplay while making topside runs more unpredictable than ever.
New Map Condition: Hurricanes Confirmed
Embark Studios has already revealed the new map condition: Hurricanes.
As shown in the latest teaser trailer, hurricanes introduce severe environmental hazards, including:
- Powerful winds that rapidly drain stamina
- Flying debris capable of damaging player shields
- Reduced visibility and increased traversal risk
This condition is set to dramatically change how Raiders approach expeditions, forcing smarter positioning, timing, and loadout decisions.
A Tougher, More Dynamic Rust Belt
Shrouded Sky continues ARC Raiders’ focus on environmental storytelling and systemic pressure. Combined with a new ARC threat and map updates, the February patch is shaping up to be a defining moment for the game’s first full year of live content.
With escalating danger in the Rust Belt, Raiders will need to adapt quickly — or risk losing everything topside.
