EA SPORTS FC is officially part of the Esports Nations Cup (ENC), bringing together 128 of the world’s best players for a high-stakes international showdown where national pride matters more than ever.

Played in 1v1 format on PlayStation 5, the tournament will see players represent their countries, not clubs or organizations, adding a new layer of pressure and prestige to every match.

With a $600,000 prize pool and a global audience watching, this week-long competition in Riyadh is set to become one of the most significant international EA SPORTS FC events to date.

Tournament Format

  • 128 players compete in total
  • Group Stage:
    • 16 groups of 8 players
    • Best-of-one matches
    • Top 4 from each group advance
  • Playoffs:
    • 64-player single-elimination bracket
    • All matches best-of-one
    • Winner claims the ENC gold medal

Qualification Breakdown

  • 64 players via direct invites
  • 56 players via regional qualifiers
  • 8 wildcard entries

Direct invites are determined by the EA SPORTS FC Pro World Rankings, with a limit of one invited player per nation to ensure wide global representation.

Ranking cut-off date: July 26

Regional Qualifiers

July 27 – August 2

Qualifiers will feature:

  • Open in-game ladder
  • Swiss stage
  • Double-elimination bracket

Regions Included: Africa, North Asia, South Asia, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, North Latin America, South Latin America, North America, Oceania, and the Middle East.

Nations with a direct invite may qualify one additional player, while nations without a direct invite can qualify up to two players, ensuring representation from at least 64 nations.

EA SPORTS FC boasts one of the most established competitive scenes in esports, with Denmark, France, and other European nations producing consistent world-class talent. South American competitors bring creativity and championship pedigree, setting the stage for compelling international clashes.

The title delivered a major storyline at Esports World Cup 2025, where Manuel “ManuBachoore” Bachoore became the game’s first-ever two-time world champion. A total of 36 nations were represented at EWC 2025, highlighting the game’s expanding global footprint.

With the Esports Nations Cup raising the stakes even higher, the event promises to create new rivalries, historic moments, and a true test of national strength at the highest level of EA SPORTS FC competition.
